Pfizer

Pfizer broke ground for the new state-of-the-art research building on November 14, 2005.  The nearly $200 million facility will assist Pfizer’s efforts in discovering and developing its pharmaceutical medications.

As the construction nears completion, the members of Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local 562 have contributed their skills and abilities to make this facility a reality.

Local 562 is helping to strengthen the role of St. Louis in Pfizer's global research enterprise. The nearly 330,000 square foot facility will provide 1,000 Pfizer employees a state-of-the-art research center in which innovative discoveries will be made.

The new research building is scheduled to open in late 2008.  Local 562 and Pfizer are committed to positively changing the research landscape of St. Louis.
